Terms of Service

Last updated: 7 October 2026

These terms explain the rules for using Stockology.ai. Please read them carefully, together with our Investment Disclaimer and Privacy Policy.

1. Who we are and accepting these terms

Stockology.ai ("Stockology", "we", "us") operates the website at stockology.ai and the services offered through it (together, the "Service").

By using the Service, including joining our waitlist, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

2. What the Service is, and what it is not

Stockology.ai provides AI-powered information and analysis about stocks listed on the Nigerian Exchange. The Service is currently pre-launch: at the moment you can learn about the product and join our waitlist, and more features will follow.

Stockology.ai is not a stockbroker, dealer or investment adviser, and nothing on the Service is financial, investment, tax or legal advice. Please read our Investment Disclaimer, which forms part of these terms.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service. By using it, you confirm that you are.

4. Accounts and your responsibilities

When accounts become available, you agree to give accurate information, keep your login details secure and tell us promptly if you think someone else has accessed your account. You are responsible for activity that takes place under your account.

Whether or not you have an account, you are responsible for how you use the Service and for any decisions you make based on it.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to: break any law while using the Service; try to gain unauthorised access to the Service or its systems; disrupt, overload or interfere with the Service; scrape, copy or resell our content or data without our written permission; reverse engineer the Service; or use it to mislead others or to manipulate markets.

We may suspend or restrict access if we reasonably believe these rules have been broken.

6. Intellectual property

The Service and its content, including text, design, logos, the Stockology.ai name, software and the AI-generated insights it produces, belong to us or our licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws.

You may view and use this content for your own personal, non-commercial purposes. You may not copy, publish, sell or create derivative works from it without our written permission.

7. Third-party data

Market prices, financial statements and other data on the Service come from third-party providers. This data may be delayed, incomplete or wrong, and we cannot guarantee its accuracy. Always check important information against original sources before relying on it.

8. No warranty

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent permitted by law, we make no promises that it will be accurate, complete, uninterrupted, error-free or suitable for any particular purpose.

9. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Stockology.ai and its team are not liable for any loss or damage, direct or indirect, arising from your use of, or inability to use, the Service, or from any decision you make based on information found on it. This includes any loss of money, profits, data or investment value.

Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.

10. Changes to the Service and these terms

We may change, suspend or stop any part of the Service at any time. We may also update these terms. When we do, we will change the "Last updated" date above, and for significant changes we will take reasonable steps to let you know. If you keep using the Service after a change, you accept the updated terms.

11. Ending your use

You can stop using the Service at any time, and you can ask us to remove you from the waitlist. We may suspend or end your access if you break these terms or if we stop offering the Service. Sections that by their nature should continue, such as intellectual property, no warranty and limitation of liability, still apply after your use ends.

12. Your privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect and use your personal information.

13. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. If a dispute arises, please contact us first so we can try to resolve it informally. If we cannot, the dispute will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Nigeria.
